My name is GeekyDad and I will be your guide here in this crazy geeky world. Basically I'm 32 and from the Texas area. I have a little girl and boy. The girl is a little over 19 months and can be seen over at twitter and instagram. My son is six and he loves Star Wars, DC and Marvel. If it's one of those things he's wanting to go and check it out. Mom for a certain extent can't handle Geek or no Geeky culture.

I grew up with a father that actually watched a lot of Star Trek and Star Wars, among other things. My Dad was a computer programmer and my mom was an artist. So it was an interesting surroundings. Growing up it was sci-fi, fantasy and sports mainly.

The thoughts and opinions posted here are of my own and those of the individual. If you have any feedback that is always welcome. Can hit me up in the comments or can hit me up thru social media accounts I have set up.

I started this blog as a way to help the parents out there that don't know anything about geeky culture or want to meet and chat about all things geek. I don't mind who posts here but I do ask that it be kept civil.

Geek to me is more then just your sci-fi fantasy and or anything like that. Geek is something that makes you feel passionat about. Something that you feel like you have to see or be a part of. We will be covering other things then just known Geek Entertainment.

Here we will be covering fun and cool things happening in my life. As well as geeky movies and tv shows. I'm learning as I'm going along. Anyhow, I hope we have some fun.
