Reaction to Legion!

Or as I like to call it WTF Show!

I have to ask though seriously what the hell is this show about and what is going on? That is what was running through my brain as I was watching the pilot episode of this show, and to be honest I did get the over all ark of the show but I don't totally get it. I still though love it and push anyone that enjoys any good scripted, acted and directed show to give this one a try.

For a while now I have been saying in my review of the Arrowverse shows that DC has been winning. They have made very excellent television as a whole but I have to say that Legion if it does keep going this way I think is the best over all comic book show on television.

Okay so let me set this up for you as a quick summary of the show. That I am willing to give you this show is one that you do have to watch and you should just go with and enjoy. It's about the son of Professor X (Yeah that Professor. Though they don't say it in the pilot and are treating it as it's own world.) and so makes him one of the most powerful mutants on the planet. He hears and sees things. We don't know what era it's set in but he is placed in side a mental institution. That is all your getting out of me. The rest just experience for yourself.

The only real grip I can even come up with for this show is that the CGI in one part isn't very good and actually takes you for a minute, as it only lasts but for a little bit , of the story. The rest of the pilot is very colorful, trippy, and just down right strange. It's a new territory showcasing what a "comic" book property can be told and shown as.

I think it is awesome to see the X-Men series shine on TV and I think it's awesome that they gave the keys so it seems to Nick Howley to  do whatever he wishes or wants. Letting him carve out his own nitch, as does I think any and all comic book writer does when writing a comic. How he also handles mental illnesses and treats it in the show is awesome and well done. Though I don't want to get into all that at the moment.

Congrats to the makers of Legion everyone on set and everyone that had a hand in this one. Awesome and I look forward to watching this one. I'm definetly DVRing it and that is a big thing coming from a parent since I can't watch it around the kids. I think we are all in for a real trippy, vibrant, treat.
