"Runnin Home to You"

Going into this week's episode my son finally figured out what a musical is. Which I have to say is interesting. Leading up to this event he would go around and try and ask what exactly it was. The kid being a six year old it was interesting to say the least.

Finally this past week the episode aired and we got to watch it. Daniel didn't like it nor fully get it. He's a bit better when it's not fighting or things like that he can handle but I think it was such a twist on the normal. I for one actually did like it. I kept thinking back to Buffy and when they did the musical episode. Which was funny and how Angel incorporated music into there show.

So to keep a tally of what went down this past week on the Supergirl/Flash crossover/musical episode the Music Mister comes and takes Kara to Barry's verse and in a coma that is stealing her powers. Soon Flash joins her and they are stuck in a matrix style world. So of course if they die they die in the real world. They both have a love of musicals and so created a musical world. They have to go through the "story" through.

Other characters pop up whom are not playing themselves. Which leads to very interesting scenes and musical numbers. I felt like the show as a whole was done very well. The musical numbers were very sold and the singing as well done. How they teamed up the characters and some of those turns (Like having "Joe" and "Professor Stein" as a couple; or the whole "Mon El" and "Iris" as a couple.) those worked really well.

Spoiler alert-
Since this is Flash though it was nice at the end to see the final song and actually have the moment that we I think as fan's have been wanting to see on The Flash. Him actually purpose to her, and not in a throw away or at the heat of the moment. It's been three season's and a hand full of times erasing there history sorta speak. If Barry was going to purpose it should be done with emotion and sincerity. Which is what he gained, and as Kara gained as well.

I doubt seriously anyone would have checked out this blog that worked or works for the show but I have to say that as a fan I say awesome job. Very well done. Oh, and if anyone is still reading and is connected can we somewhere along the lines get Stephen Amell do a musical number? Please! That would be so awesome! Come on Stephen join the fun!
