'It Comes at Night'

Of course I can't actually find the link to the trailer but I'm going to go ahead and actually blog about this movie as I think it's going to be awesome. This film looks like a cool 10 Cloverfield Lane style movie. Though obviously a bit darker and going for that R-rated feel. Which looks intense and very cool.

Seems this year we are actually going to be getting our hands on some pretty dark and intense horror stories. I'm not complaining at all I love horror and the fun that you can have in facing the boogyman. Though to be honest I need smart and not dumb down horror. Stupid horror well....sucks. A man (Joel Edgerton) learns that the evil stalking his family home may be only a prelude to horrors that come from within. Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorizes the world, the tenuous domestic order he has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.

Despite the best intentions of both families, paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him as he learns that the protection of his family comes at the cost of his soul.
