Mr.Glass

I know I'm behind the 8 ball but I still want to actually talk about this as I'm very excited. I don't know if that many people have actually seen Unbreakable and I have yet to see Split. I do want to actually see this movie.  M. Night Shyamalan

 M. Night Shyamalan is a very much polarizing director and creator. His films while I think he started off at a good place he ended his Disney run as a joke. Someone that I think got to big for what he was putting out. Also too he's no Hitchcock he is a director that has a vision and see's it through. I think he relied on the hook as a selling point and Disney's ad selling part of the company was to happy to push. They also pushed the "horror" aspect of his writing. I have never not once really applied the label of horror to him. He's not scary and while I think some of his films are in that ball park I don't think he's every really thought of horror.

The closest thing to horror he's done I would say is Signs. Signs was a great mash up of Night of the Living Dead and War of the Worlds a great idea and I would say for the first two thirds of the film a really great film.

I know I kind of went away from the whole Unbreakable, Glass and Split but I actually really enjoy his films. I think he's a totally awesome....though when he has the right script and idea. Give him the wrong idea and or script and it'll crash like a burning plane.

Unbreakable is a great and wonderful comic book film. You have a man who is played by Bruce Willis that survives a horrific train crash and lives. In fact he doesn't get a scratch. He meets another man named Mr. Glass that is always breaking bones in his body. Good and evil. It is much more then that and very much a grounded superhero story. The film was one of those really good comic book movies that was made for those that don't like or wouldn't really know they were watching an origin story.

Looking at a few of the images I found for this article and all I'm kind of wondering if he has the gusto to actually link all the films together. Though I hope not. I hope that he's not going to do that. Be to much and I hope he does in turn make a really great film. If he can make Mr. Glass awesome might save him even more in Hollywood.
