'The Grinn'

I think majority of the audiences that I get are from twitter. Having said that I have to say that I got a like and a follow from an interesting source. A very low budget horror film. I didn't know this existed and actually am doing this of own free will. Something I actually want to do more of. If you have a film or a short..something and want to get it reviewed here can always send me it through social media or here on the blog. I'll try and take a peek and give you thoughts. Having said all of that this isn't a paid review or anything. Just myself giving thoughts to their trailer. Taken from their website.

A man awakens in an empty house that he is unable to leave, battling fatigue, injury and amnesia, and guided by only a mysterious voice on a phone, he begins piecing together the fractured memories of events that lead him to be trapped where he is, and ultimately discovers a truth more horrifying than he could have ever imagined. 

Now that we have the plot summary lets go over the trailer. I think that the director who also wrote this film is pretty ambitious. It's pretty challenging I must say to have this idea of a voice  whom you probably don't see till at least later in the film. If ever in the film honestly I don't know. It's also hinged on the lead mainly. Is this guy actually good enough to keep people watching.

I thought that the trailer over all was good. I am though wondering what the "truth" or the big hook at the end of this is. Doesn't seem like it's meant or is going to be more of a blood bath. Which is good as I'm not a big fan of it. Splatter for the sake of splatter was dumb. This does have the creepy and spooky kind of feel to it.
