Wonder Woman & Alamo Drafthouse!

There are now two women only showings for Wonder Woman. Which I have to say is cool, and this story is just ridiculous and stupid really. The men that are so bothered and upset should hand over their man cards. Seriously. I'm being serious before leaving this site down below hand in your man cards.

Wonder Woman is set to up just around the corner and while yes I am going to be going to go see this picture. I'm hoping the first weekend and since I have no money at the moment and tickets are going like crazy never know. I did read this a while back and I thought it was hilarious. It also kind of makes me proud of Alamo Drafthouse. Which is a haven for anyone still interested in film and watching film.

I'm going, to be honest, this is like getting crazy that some place is going to show Wonder Woman and you're not allowed to attend. The movie is a feminist idea, and actually at the heart of Wonder Woman kind of kinky. She lives on an island by herself where no men are allowed and in the earliest forms kind of introduced BDSM. Now that has been taken out but it's there if you go looking for the early comics. Also to should be mentioned I hope you have a boat load of cash to buy it and read it. That is only if you dare plan in reading it since if you mess it up you're out a lot of cash.

This isn't a segregation and it's nothing to do with the 40's to 60's. It's actually just women coming together and watching something that was really made for them. Warner saw that women wanted a superhero movie. So in their wise decision, they made Wonder Woman. Not a bad idea either. I hope it succeeds and does well. People griping for no reason. It's hilarious.

So to the people working at The Alamo, ya'll keep doing what you're doing and screw 'em. I can't wait to head over to see a film at The Alamo so can see how you guys have turned this whole thing into some snarky, funny reply to the stupidity of other stupid men.
