Shiny!

More Firefly?

I didn't come into this show actually till it had made it's way to the movie theaters, and while I at first didn't like it, I found the show and became a fan. I'm a Browncoat as they call us. It's a fandom that I enjoy as I enjoy actually a lot of Joss Whedon films and TV shows. I was a kid when Buffy came out and so eloquently described my high school. 

Since then though out of all the shows that Joss has done and it's not that many. Firefly world is a world that I would love to see revisited and I know the cast must get ton's of tweets and ton's of questions of please more. I also know too that they must tire of that question. I'd say majority of that cast though that entity is a big deal on there movie/tv credits. 

The movie does in a way though close out the story of Serenity/Firefly world. In two hours it shows what would have been at least a 5 or 6 season worth of story. 

Seeing the tweets about it and mentions of things that could possible come from having a reboot of this show has made me happy. It's my two favorite things cowboys and aliens. My childhood summed up right there. 

I am glad that the new regime over at FOX is now more open to actually having this show back on there network. Though to be honest word was that the suites that axed this show has long since not been in power over at FOX for some time. 

All of this emotion and feelings if it doesn't have Joss I'm not for it. It's like the Buffy movie that was long rumored to be moving forward. Billed as a "new version" of Buffy the Vampire Slayer! I don't know if it's still going to the big screen or little screen but I can tell you that I won't be watching and wouldn't watch if Joss isn't involved in this one. I know he's buisy doing this new movie and we will cover that here on the blog as well but I hope that he does come back and we get more "Serenity/Firefly".
